The passion project of California writer Jessie Schiewe, OK Whatever launched in September 2018 and won the Webby Award for Best Cultural/Lifestyle Website in 2021.

Our highly researched articles and out-of-the-box focus regularly attracted millions of readers to our website, as well as copycat reporting. A handful of times, OK Whatever broke original news articles that later got scooped by larger, national and international, publications.
