Visit:
Abita Mystery House/UCM Museum
Abita Springs, Louisiana
If you want to see a Bassigator, go here. This museum claims to have the creature on display in the back of the museum, hitched to a boat trailer, surrounded by a rusty fence and roof to protect it from the elements. The museum’s curator, John Preble, has claimed that the creature is still alive but lies dormant. That being said, visitors are advised not to get too close just in case.
